LouKot is a little cafe along the street where the mandir (Indian temple), the mosque, and the Chinese temple stands through centuries in Melaka – the “Harmony Street”. In this amalgam, LouKot blends with the harmony of Melaka and it is here we serve a little of Asia’s favorite Briyani delicacy (Kashmiri style, for a twist) and comfort drink – tea.
The theme of the store follows the Kashmiri style with green plants. The decoration in the Kashmir cafe uses a lot of imported items from Kashmir. Certainly, at noon, the LouKot cafe will be filled with customers who come to enjoy Nasi Briyani. In the evening you can enjoy snacks such as cakes, samosas and pakodas with LouKot tea.
LouKot means small in Kashmiri. As in Xiao in Mandarin, Kecil in Malay, Petite in English, Chorta in Urdu, Koocheek in Persian.
