Craving for local nasi lemak? Head over to Melaka’s Nasi Lemak Ujong Pasir. 

What’s unique about this store is it operates on a Chinese shop site namely Restaurant Ming Huat but the founder of the nasi lemak stall is a Malay. Along the way, the store also houses a variety of other local specialty stalls.

One of the special dishes in Melaka served here is nasi lemak berlauk, a standard plate comes with sambal, kangkong and omelet. The founder of this legendary nasi lemak, Mrs. Saadiah is said to have almost 40 years of experience in preparing soft and flaky steamed rice.

Nasi lemak dishes here are served complete with sambal, beans, anchovies, cucumbers, and in addition to some appetizing side dishes such as chicken rendang, salted egg meat rendang, shrimp sambal, squid sambal, clam sambal, meat sambal, sambal squid cooked with spices and rendang kambing.

The price of food in this shop is also wallet-friendly. Customers can get regular nasi lemak for only RM3.00 for a pack!
